Olavi Fellman vive a Espoo in Finlandia. Ha studiato all'Università di Helsinki, conseguendo la laurea nel 2004 in Filosofia dell'Estetica e Storia dell'arte. Ha partecipato a numerosi concorsi e mostre internazionali conseguendo numerosi premi e consensi dal pubblico e dalla critica. L'esperienza artistica ed estetica nelle sue opere può essere paragonata a un pellegrinaggio rigenerente per lo spirito alla ricerca del sacro. Evidente nelle sue opere la forza risanatrice dell'arte sacra di Olavi. Infatti l'artista ritene che l'arte sia un percorso dell'anima estremamente ricco di tesori sconosciuti, la cui scoperta spetta sempre a colui che guarda. Profonda influenza nelle sue opere hanno avuto gli studi di filosofi come Martin Heidegger e Hans Georg Gadamer. Ha partecipato a numerose mostre in Finlandia e all'estero.
Olavi Fellman belives that an art lover can find art as a Religion. Aesthetical experience and artistical creativity can transform to a healing pilgrimage and holiness. Everybody can choose their own experiences and their way of creativity, and art as a treasury and richness is never-ending. Through his works Olavi wants to ask, what can a human being find about sacredness through the artistical process. After art school and several years of artist career, he started to search the artistical being: experience and creativity as an art religion. He graduated from the University of Helsinki with master's degree in 2004. Martin Heidegger and Hans Georg Gadamer are some of the philosophers whose ideas he values. Olavi has taken part in many exhibitions in Finland and foreign countries as well.
